Mehmet was raised in a family run business of fast food takeaways, learning valuable knowledge of small businesses.

He graduated from Thames Polytechnic (now known as Greenwich University) with a Computer, Science & Maths degree.

​

Following from his qualification, he then worked for a  local firm of accountants based in North London.

 

With his gained experience, he then chose to start-up his own practice in Bow being Miles Waterman Accountants in 1997.

​

With Mehmet's knowledge of small businesses, he had decided to focus Miles Waterman Accountants as a small business specialist to work and aid small businesses in London.

​

In 2005, Mehmet had decided to move Miles Waterman Accountants to a more convenient location for business being our current office in Bexleyheath, Kent. This allowed Mehmet to branch out of London.
